It’s a deliberate defunding for the very agencies tasked with protecting Americans, all so Schumer can extract leftist policy concessions on immigration enforcement.
Chuck the Hypocrite. The hypocrisy couldn’t be starker: while TSA screeners and Coast Guard civilians go without paychecks, Schumer and his colleagues collect their full congressional salaries. The facts are straightforward. The partial DHS shutdown began on February 14, 2026, after Democrats, led by Schumer, refused to pass clean funding for the department without major “reforms” to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Schumer has openly vowed to block any bill funding these agencies until they are “reined in and overhauled,” calling them “lawless” in televised interviews. Democrats are committed to the criminals they let in during the Biden presidency. Americans are second in line behind illegal immigrants.
Restore funding. House Republicans have repeatedly advanced measures to pay DHS personnel and restore full operations, only to be stonewalled. As one GOP appropriations leader put it, Schumer is “using federal employees’ paychecks as bargaining chips.” This isn’t leadership—it’s blackmail and extortion. Schumer’s demands aren’t about fiscal responsibility or national security. They’re about advancing a progressive agenda that treats border enforcement as the problem. Schumer wants a porous southern border that funnels drugs, criminals, and potential terrorists into the country.

Yet Schumer sails through unscathed with the very fake news covering for him. While essential workers at TSA and the Coast Guard report for duty without timely compensation—relying on food banks, credit cards, or sheer patriotism—Schumer’s Senate paycheck hits his account on schedule.
Chuck the Defunder Fears AOC. Schumer has proven to be a merchant of chaos. Defund the police. Defund the military. Defund Homeland Security. Meanwhile, promote and fund illegal immigration, transgender surgeries, abortion on demand, Marxist agenda in grade schools indoctrinating kids.
