While they preach the supremacy of the state, declare its omnipotence over individual man, and predict its eventual domination of all peoples on the Earth, they are the focus of evil in the modern world.”
— Ronald Reagan, March 8, 1983 (speech to the National Association of Evangelicals, often called the “Evil Empire” speech)
Voting for Democrats risk policies whose real-world results often look like they were designed by a committee that has zero life experience or they love tyranny. As if Democrat policy was not bad enough, now you have the infiltration of Democrat Socialists in their party. Bad meets worse. Incompetence meets dysfunction. Misfits meet miscreants.
On end-of-life issues, medical aid in dying is legal in a dozen-plus blue-leaning states, with Illinois and New York recently joining under Democratic governors. Supporters call it autonomy. Americans call it murder. Critics note the pattern in places that expand it: what begins as a narrow option for the terminally ill tends to widen, and the elderly or disabled can feel like a cost center with a cheerful exit ramp. Democrats informal national plank is “Euthanasia for Seniors,” but their state-level expansions and higher polling support for the practice make the concern less cartoonish than it first sounds. The “duty to die” worry is not official policy; it is the predictable result of telling people their lives have a price tag and then offering them a discount to kill themselves. Making them feel guilty for living.
Abortion access follows a similar pattern. The Women’s Health Protection Act, backed by the Democratic caucus, would block most pre-viability limits and protect post-viability procedures when a provider decides the patient’s life or health requires it. Late-term abortions and “post-birth abortion” are being pushed by democrats in Virginia and recently signed into law in Massachusetts. Infanticide wins in democrat circles. . Still, several Democratic-led states have erased gestational limits, and the party’s rhetoric treats any restriction as an emergency. The practical message is that viability is whatever the doctor says it is, which is convenient until the doctor is the only adult in the room.
The cities named —Chicago, Los Angeles, New York—have been under continuous Democratic governance for decades. They have also spent billions on homelessness while the tents and open-air drug markets stayed put, and they experimented with reduced policing and softer charging after 2020. The Democrat party that controls the cities keeps explaining that the problems are complicated; the people moving to Texas keep explaining that the problems are also avoidable.
Immigration under Democratic administration produced record border encounters after the end of prior restrictions and the expansion of parole. Open borders—some enforcement continued—but the volume and the political resistance to interior removals resulted in massive crime waves throughout the country. Sanctuary rules made the problem worse. Democrats later pivoted toward slightly more enforcement once the polling numbers arrived, which is the political equivalent of noticing the smoke detector after the kitchen is already on fire.
Finally, the Democratic Socialists of America is an explicit socialist organization with more than 100,000 members that works inside the Democratic Party. It has elected or endorsed candidates in major cities and champions Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and strongly anti-Israel positions. “Red-Green” cooperation describes tactical alliances between left activists and Islamist groups against shared targets. The broader Democratic coalition is still bigger than DSA, but the socialist wing keeps winning primaries and moving the Overton window leftward. The result is a party that contains both moderates who want functional cities and a growing faction that treats capitalism, borders, and basic public order as the problem.
Voting for democrats regardless of socialist, marxist, leftist or “moderate” is a disorder in and of itself. Why vote for the very people destroying America?
