A Veteran Died Today

He was getting old and paunchy
And his hair was falling fast,
And he sat around the Legion,
Telling stories of the past.

Of a war that he once fought in
And the deeds that he had done,
In his exploits with his buddies;
They were heroes, every one.

And ‘tho sometimes to his neighbors
His tales became a joke,
All his buddies listened quietly
For they knew where of he spoke.

But we’ll hear his tales no longer,
For ol’ Joe has passed away,
And the world’s a little poorer
For a Veteran died today.

He won’t be mourned by many,
Just his children and his wife.
For he lived an ordinary,
Very quiet sort of life.

He held a job and raised a family,
Going quietly on his way;
And the world won’t note his passing,
‘Tho a Veteran died today.

When politicians leave this earth,
Their bodies lie in state,
While thousands note their passing,
And proclaim that they were great.

Papers tell of their life stories
From the time that they were young,
But the passing of a Veteran
Goes unnoticed, and unsung.

Is the greatest contribution
To the welfare of our land,
Some jerk who breaks his promise
And cons his fellow man?

Or the ordinary fellow
Who in times of war and strife,
Goes off to serve his country
And offers up his life?

The politician’s stipend
And the style in which he lives,
Are often disproportionate,
To the service that he gives.

While the ordinary Veteran,
Who offered up his all,
Is paid off with a medal
And perhaps a pension, small.

It is not the politicians
With their compromise and ploys,
Who won for us the freedom
That our country now enjoys.

Should you find yourself in danger,
With your enemies at hand,
Would you really want some cop-out,
With his ever-waffling stand?

Or would you want a Veteran
His home, his country, his kin,
Just a common Veteran,
Who would fight until the end.

He was just a common Veteran,
And his ranks are growing thin,
But his presence should remind us
We may need his likes again.

For when countries are in conflict,
We find the Veteran’s part,
Is to clean up all the troubles
That the politicians start.

If we cannot do him honor
While he’s here to hear the praise,
Then at least let’s give him homage
At the ending of his days.

Perhaps just a simple headline
In the paper that might say:

“OUR COUNTRY IS IN MOURNING,
A VETERAN DIED TODAY.”

MAN FOR OTHERS

LCDR Erik Kristensen, in his life and in his service to our country, meant many things to many people. He was a sailor, a SEAL, a hero. He was a teacher, a mentor, a son, a friend. And for the men of Eye Street, he was – and still is – a role model. The small, but poignant memorial so aptly located in a basement rotunda through which nearly every one of a thousand boys’ age fourteen to eighteen-year-old walk by each day, serves as a solemn reminder of his sacrifice. Its location is important; while the familiar is often glassed over by complacency and forgotten in repetition, the ever present placement of such an example of service in constant view of the privileged sons of Washington provides young men at their most impressionable with the example of one of their own who valued others more than himself.

Prior to his service, Erik attended and graduated from Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. and the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He was an avid competitor, playing football and lacrosse at Gonzaga and earning a varsity letter on the Academy’s crew team. After graduation, he continued to compete, working towards a graduate degree and eventually joining the Navy’s elite as a member of SEAL Team 10. He was the kind of man others strive to be – ambitious in his goals and determined in achieving them, all the while staying true to his values. He is the kind of man to be admired by generations which follow; the kind of man we have a responsibility to hold in high esteem among our youth.

LCDR Kristensen was tragically killed in action on 28 June 2005, shot down in a helicopter among fifteen other Special Forces operators from the Army and Navy. Always a man for others, LCDR Kristensen had volunteered to lead the expedition on a rescue mission to save four fellow SEAL members who had been pinned under enemy fire. His selflessness – his sacrifice – is indicative of the man he was, and acts as testament to the parents, friends, teachers, friends, and environment that shaped him.

This author did not have the pleasure of meeting Erik, instead only knowing him through the connections of a shared school and a common belief in the value of service before self. These connections are not unique, either, but are shared by countless members of the generations that followed Erik. His memory is an inspirational one, his memorial an impetus for betterment. He is the role model we passed on our way to and from class each day; his name the one spoken in admiration with wonder; his shared history with our own a point of pride. To us, Erik is the epitome of selflessness, of service, and of sacrifice. To all, he is a man for others. LCDR Kristensen will continue to inspire the young men of Eye Street and beyond to seek a career in service – to honor his legacy, we owe him our best.

“I Wanted to Earn the Right to be an American”

Recently I had the privilege of meeting a recent recipient of the Medal of Honor, our nation’s highest recognition for gallantry in times of war. Florent Groberg was born in France to a French Algerian mother and never knew his natural father. He was lucky in that a man named Groberg met and married his mother, adopted Flo and moved his family to the United States, giving them an existence that most in the world still envy.

While looking for a speaker on veteran’s employment Flo’s name popped up on Linkedin at just the right time; he is working with Linkedin on veteran transition issues. In a very short time I was reminded about all that we owe our veterans in a powerful way by Flo.

Flo told his life story to an audience of business professionals. It was highly personal. He shared his early memories of France, moving here and knowing no English. Experiencing the knowledge that one of his mother’s nephews killed himself in a terrorist attack. Experiencing 911 here in the US and being motivated to fight for his country. It was then, as he chose to join ROTC, that he learned that in order to get clearances he would have to renounce his French citizenship. And then he made that statement with which this piece is titled: “I wanted to earn the right to be an American.” The room I was in fell silent. He eye-balled us. In one simple sentence so many thoughts came rushing in. When do we hear this now? When are we reminded just how precious life in this part of the planet under our set of ideals is? We are subjected to an ongoing onslaught of grievance and very very little about our obligations, our responsibilities, our stewardship of this country. Flo said volumes in a very short sentence. I am keeping this about Flo so I will not follow all of the rabbit trails that the aforementioned grievance culture can dredge up.

Flo threw himself on a suicide bomber in order to save the men he was working with and the VIP’s he was charged with protecting. Four of those men died; others were seriously injured, including Flo who spent three years convalescing. Flo’s messages were profound and inspiring. He spoke of resilience first and foremost. Knowing many had it worse than he did and many never came back, he still struggled with survivor’s guilt. A visit from Travis Mills, a quadruple amputee and war veteran finally snapped Flo out of his anger. He developed a new mission to help veterans make their transition from the military as effectively as possible.

Florent Groberg is America at its best. An immigrant. Heroic. Funny. Responsible. Idealistic. Tough as nails. An Army Infantry Airborne Ranger. I am proud to know him even though he’s a cubs fan.

Flo talked at length about needing to learn with humility from the senior enlisted men that reported to him. He talked about the application of these principles to civilian life and how humility is an essential part of leadership. He spoke of the unique attributes of veterans of the service and how they add value for employers. Message received, Flo, message received. This old veteran will do everything he can to continue to share it. Hooah!

The Swamp

The Obama Presidency has been a wrecking ball for world stability and peace. America’s worst fears have come true as it relates to Obama’s foreign policy. The JV team he incorrectly tagged ISIS with is really the National Security Council staff he assembled with the likes of Susan Rice and Ben Rhodes among others not properly schooled or seasoned for their positions. They view the world through their personal prism of ignorance, arrogance and incompetence; the trifecta of personal qualities that place them both in the category of not fit to serve. Politics trumps experience every time with this president. This President is more interested in an adoring, gloating staff instead of a highly experienced national security team of experts. The United States is left with Obama’s Foreign Policy Tour of Disasters which has left the world in shambles.

  • Iran. Iranian Nuclear Agreement Built on Fabricated Lies to the American public. Ultimately, it makes the US less secure and is having rival states pursuing their own nuclear capability (2013 thru present day)
  • Iran. The Iranian Green Movement seeking democracy and secularism was a missed opportunity for the Obama Administration to back the democratic movement that was nationwide. Instead, he backed the hardline Iranian regime by doing nothing while innocents were rounded up and killed. Obama did not even give voice to their cause (2009)
  • Syria. Syrian Civil War and US failure to lead a coalition resulting in empowering ISIS and Russia (2011 thru present day)
  • Iraq. The complete withdrawal of US troops out of Iraq, destabilizing it, serving as a propellant for ISIS to generate (December 2011 thru present day)
  • ISIS. The establishment of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria Caliphate (2012 – present day)
  • Persecution. Christian persecution throughout Middle East brought on by ISIS and the US has done nothing to save these innocent lives (2011 thru present day)
  • Libya. Obama – Clinton invasion of Libya, resulting in a failed state and loss of four Americans in Benghazi to include our Ambassador. And who authored the infamous Talking Points about a phony video causing it? Ben Rhodes! (2011 – present day)
  • Yemen. The destabilization of Yemen, a US ally in the war on terror, and now a new proxy war between Sunni, Shiite and ISIS
  • Ukraine. Russian invasion of Ukraine and annexing parts of Ukraine and Crimea (2014 – present day)
  • Spratly Islands. Chinese build up on armed islands upon reefs in the South China Sea to strengthen their position of claiming the Spratly Islands
  • Israel. Throwing longtime ally Israel under the bus at every opportunity while backing the Muslim Brotherhood and the PLO over Israel
  • Egypt. Throwing longtime ally Egypt under the bus during the Arab Spring and backing the Muslim Brotherhood over the stable government of Egypt

Back to Iran. Ben Rhodes, in a recent New York Times magazine featured article bragged to NYT reporter David Samuels that he manipulated the public and press through the use of 27 year old reporters parading “legions of arms control experts at think tanks and social media and became sources for the clueless reporters, … like ventriloquist dummies” helping the Obama Administration make their case on ratifying the Iranian Nuke deal. How sick is this? Lying to the American public and manipulating the public to believe this was in the best interest of US national security, and bragging about it. Is this not an impeachable offense? A President that used his staff to lie to us. Disgusting! Wrecking Ball — the Obama way, enabling our enemies and screwing our Allies. Does he feel a commitment to protecting our country? Does he? What rational American president behaves this way? It is clear, the greatest threat to the United States of America is from within, with a president that puts Iranian interests over our own. God help us!

Breaking News — 53rd Endorses Monetti

Special Edition             May 13th, 2018

Regiment, Attention! Regarding the senate race in Missouri, the 53rd Regiment proudly endorses a candidate that will not be bought and sold. A candidate that has been tested through the trials, tribulations and selfless acts of bravery wearing the proud uniform of the United States Air Force. A candidate that fully embraces President Trump’s bold leadership  and an unwavering commitment to the forgotten men and women of Missouri that have been crushed by the liberal elitist Claire McCaskill policies and here ilk. Change has been needed for over a decade and it is time to send McCaskill back to her K Street, Midtown Manhattan and upper society millionaire peers. She is not Missouri! Tony Monetti is and always has been the spirit of St. Louis and Missouri!

It is time for the other republican candidates to clear the flight deck. The B2 Bomber is our candidate. He understands the challenges ahead. He has no fear. He was the clear winner in last night’s debate by two touchdowns, not even close. Tony is use to dropping big payloads on target.  McCaskill is a very BIG target, oversized liberal that has never truly represented Missouri.

Hawley is establishment through and through. He’s got the old republican money coming in. Mitch McConnell loves Hawley. Good for him! Monetti has the people’s money coming in … $5, $10, $25 bucks! Grassroots. Aren’t we sick of the big money, big phony, big party types?

This is what Missouri needs to know — The 53rd Regiment is lining up with LTC(R) Tony Monetti. A man brave enough to get in the cockpit of a B2 aircraft with a nuclear payload, has the guts, smarts and steadiness to lead in the United States Senate and he will proudly play his position supporting President Trump. It is time to execute Colon Blow on sad sack Claire McCaskill.

Red Pill Kanye

Are you familiar with the ‘red pill’ ‘blue pill’ memes currently popular on social media?

From Wikipedia: The terms, popularized in science fiction culture, are derived from the 1999 film The Matrix. In the film, the main character Neo is offered the choice between a red pill and a blue pill by rebel leader Morpheus. The red pill would free him from the enslaving control of the machine-generated dream world and allow him to escape into the real world, but living the “truth of reality” is harsher and more difficult. On the other hand, the blue pill would lead him back to stay in the comfortable simulated reality of the Matrix.

Red Pill Kanye has arrived and we welcome him with open arms. We wondered if in our lifetime black culture in the US could ever bust out of the norms created in the 60’s by Johnson’s Great Society train wreck. It was slow in coming. Bill Cosby did a little of it before his perversion was revealed (Bad Pill Bill!). Condi Rice. Colin Powell before he went bad. Herman Cain before he imploded. Remember Alan Keyes? Roy Innis, who famously knocked over the fat version of Al Sharpton on the Morton Downey Jr. show in the 80’s, and who’s son Niger carries on his tradition. Clarence Thomas. LTC(R) Alan West. A handful of great African American conservative congressmen. Not many though.

But here comes Kanye, and due to his formerly strong affiliation with the Stalinist left, the ongoing red pill explosion is wonderful to watch. At first we thought- ok – he’s giving a little up to Trump due to their friendship. Then came the tweets of Thomas Sowell and the meetings with Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens.  Biggest shock of all? An apology for saying George W Bush hated black people. Chance the Rapper screwed up and crawled back into his hole after being supportive “black people don’t have to be democrats’. Not Kanye. He’s tripled down. Fellow deplorables let’s enjoy this while it lasts. I wonder if his conservative Father-in –law Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner had anything to do with this conversion?

Look for Trump to draw 25%+ of the black vote in 2020.

White House Correspondents Dinner

Trump is now clairvoyant. He called it. He skipped what turned out to be in his words a ‘complete disaster’. Trump does the uncomfortable knowing that in the end, style points and socializing with phonies won’t get results. He won’t waste time on the Pravda Left MSM Class because they are never going to be fair. NEVER. He gets it. So what did they do? They soiled their diaper again, writ large and broadcast to everyone with a lousy court jester that read her nasty lines from paper. This event may be the most accurate metaphor for the swamp ever constructed. It was the swamp. Don’t look for reform any time soon. Who do the people at the #WHCD remind of us of?
· The snobby wealthy people in the various 3 stooges episodes that get pulled into pie fights
· The preppie rich kids who all sat together at lunch in high school
· The godless hoards that taunted Noah before the floods
· The crowds that yelled ‘crucify him’ before Pilot
· The French aristocracy right before the revolution
· The worst bosses all of us have ever had gathered in one place

@POTUS had a blast in Michigan and also provided entertainment to many, while the rabble of the press corps put their incontinence on public display. Again. #SAD

Elmer Fudd aka Robert Mueller

It occurs to us that there is a vast similarity between the venerable cartoon character Elmer Fudd and Robert Mueller, formerly described here as Lurch. “Shhhhhhhhhh!! BE VEWY VEWY quiet! We’re Hunting Wabbits!!”. Then, as we know, all manner of travails would befall poor Elmer. Somehow anvils would fall on his head, he’d fall over cliffs or down mine shafts, have his shot gun spun round only to go off in his face repeatedly. Often Bugs Bunny or a combination of Bugs and Daffy Duck were responsible for his many, many problems. In essence, Elmer was a dupe and foil for Bugs. See where we’re headed here? Trump is Bugs Bunny. Daffy Duck appears from time to time in the guise of Sean Hannity, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Rep Devin Nunez, and many others. Mueller creeps along quietly with his trusty two barrel shotgun hunting ‘Wussians’ and keeps having issues. We are not sure when he will come to his senses and call it quits – just like Elmer. Oh well. As Elmer might say “Huh-uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh !!!!”

Red Pill Rocket Man? We don’t know. Most likely “Ass Kicked during Beijing visit’ Rocket Man – but we’ll take what we can get. Black Jack predicts an eventually successful agreement with North Korea, and, ZERO chance of Trump getting a Nobel Peace Prize. Those are reserved for the Stalinist Left.

What does Netanyahu of Israel do best? De-pants Iran. He just did. Thank you – more unravelling of BO and the Windsurfer Kerry’s dopey deeds. Iran Deal will have to be re-done or just die. Iran should be watching Rocket Man closely. Despite the story not being told, the world seems to be welcoming Trumpian leadership. Dad’s home and the BS is gonna stop.

Anyone else noticing how the rest of the world is falling in line behind ‘mob boss’ in Comey’s words POTUS? Let’s inventory:
· Rocket Man – as described above has moved from trading barbs and testing nukes to hugging at the DMZ
· French President Macron – from OMG death grip handshake to ‘I love DJT so much I can’t keep my hands off him’; supports Syria head punches
· Kaiser Merkel – from public doubts to flying in to have no drama meetings
· Japanese President Abe – staunch ally from the start
· Chinese Premiere Xi – seems to be playing ball despite the trade noise
· Dictator Putin – pretty quiet considering multiple head punches administered to his lapdog Syria
· Mexico – very quiet despite the President’s constant concerns about the border
· Iran – on notice with Bibi’s Powerpoint
· Canada – who cares
· England – supported Syria Op with France
· Poland – got one of the first visits by the president to another nation and got a huge endorsement from him – and some missiles too
· Nigeria – wonderful visit just this week!

What’s happening here folks? Bush’s axis of evil is getting dealt with. Obama’s bad deals getting cleaned up. Years of lax border control are over. Low business taxes attracting investment and even getting compliments from abroad. It’s a new Trump world order.

Bromance and the Kaiser

Oh boy – some grabby/huggy moments from the French King wannabe Macron and the POTUS. Well – maybe our president is starved of affection at home due to his stormy publicity and will take it where he can get it. Oh Dear. While we doubt some of his Euro-centric agenda, we welcome a French President who seems to bathe, who loves America, and who thanks our veterans. Refreshing. We can work with this guy. Then the sour German Kaiser shows up to round out the week. Whatever.

Misery in Missouri

We stand by Governor Greitens and believe he deserves his day in court for the crazy accusations against him involving taking a picture of his former mistress 2 years before he was elected. Disappointing dirt bag stuff if true, yes, but we vote people into office based primarily on their policies and not on their sins or lack thereof. Character is always a crap shoot with any human. We believe the charges on election fraud are stupid and meaningless. Let him serve out his term and let’s move on when the trial is over. The Attorney General who hopes to replace Worthless Claire McCaskill should pipe down. Greitens managed to sign Right to Work legislation and start a tax reduction debate so far. Not bad for a wounded governor.

Momentum in Missouri

We welcome and endorse former B-2 pilot and Air Force veteran Tony Monetti for Senate in MO.

Sad, worthless, unproductive, lost in the past Claire McCaskill, already retired in terms of behavior, should be officially retired as well. Just another elitist fat cat democrat that doesn’t serve the electorate and lives like a millionaire. Let’s not let Claire keep drinking wine with Chuck and Nancy while we drink water or get nothing. Claire represents the past – the late 1970’s specifically – when everything just kind of sucked. Tony Moetti stated on a radio program recently: “Fighter pilots make movies, bomber pilots make history!’ We agree. Tony is normal, smart, energetic, modern, engaged with normal people and will fight for us. Josh Hawley? Not yet Josh. Not even with old man Danforth’s very waspy endorsement. Not yet.

Alfie

“It is my sincere hope that everything necessary may be done in order to continue compassionately accompanying little Alfie Evans, and that the deep suffering of his parents may be heard. I am praying for Alfie, for his family and for all who are involved.”  Pope Francis

Who is Alfie? He was a baby in England that has garnered international news because the doctors refuse to treat him removing his oxygen and allowing him to starve to death. The hospital and doctors that treated him say that Alfie suffered from a degenerative neurological condition that is fatal, that he is in a semi-vegetative state and his medical care is not justified. His parents, supported by the Italian and Polish governments and the Pope,  wanted his care to continue. How did we get to this point?

The culture of life vs. the culture of death.

Private care vs. socialized care.

Thomas Evans & Kate James, parents of baby Alfie Evans, vs. the Alder Day hospital in Liverpool England and socialized medical care.

Parents making decisions to care for their children vs. the state taking control and deciding who lives and who dies.

The state government refusing to allow the parents of Alfie to take their child to another country for care.

Disregarding faith and spiritual aspects for loving and caring for Alfie.

Loving all life in all forms vs. devaluing life so quickly.

The state of England allowed Alfie to die. He did not reach the age of two. The state took control displacing parental rights. Is this the future of all western democracies? State governments choosing who lives and who dies?

There is much to reflect on in Alfie’s premature state directed death. There are many questions we should reflect on. I’ll begin with this reflection; the more power we acquiesce to state authorities, the less control we have on our own lives and those we love.

Corrupt Government = Phony Dossier

The Swamp, Update April 24th, 2018

Many new revelations since this article was originally published. What have we learned?

  1. The #2 man in the FBI, Andrew McCabe, has been found to lie (he lacked “candor”), on at least three occasions. The DoJ Inspector General has recommended criminal prosecution. He was fired before he was allowed to retire.
  2. The basis of the FISA warrant was the phony dossier. The court was never told that the dossier was democratic party opposition research designed to do a hit job on Trump.
  3. The Director Comey memo’s he leaked to a professor friend at New York University, subsequently leaked to the NY Times, contained classified information. Comey knowingly leaked classified information.
  4. Comey kept book on Trump with the memo’s as part of the hit job. These memo’s were then used to demand a Special Prosecutor and get DoJ Sessions to recuse himself from the Russian collusion investigation. Very convenient.  Interesting how Comey never kept book on anyone but Trump … hmmm.
  5. John Brennan, former Director of the CIA, continues to demonstrate his lack of candor with his extremely unprofessional tweets directed at President Trump. What is he worried about? Likely a hell of a lot. He and his battle buddy Clapper have a lot of explaining to do soon, very soon. When all the dust is uncovered, we are likely to find officials in our government (DoJ, FBI and Intelligence Community) that failed their agencies, conspired against President Trump and set actions in motion to undermine the votes of 63 million Americans. Clapper & Brennan need to be recalled by Congress to answer some very hard questions.

This should scare all Americans. The Democratic National Committee and the Clinton Campaign hired a former British spy to create a phony dossier against President Trump fabricating Russian collusion that alleges salacious activities that ranged from criminal to deviant in nature. This dossier was then used by senior officials in the Intelligence Community (IC), likely senior officials under DNI Clapper or CIA Director Brennan, to get a FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) warrant, a “wire tap,” to collect information on Trump and his campaign. So it is highly likely one of these two helped justify the phony dossier.

The fake news has reported the dossier as opposition research but when you use a foreign agent and unknown paid resources by a for profit company, Fusion GPS, to justify a FISA warrant to a US court the whole system of checks and balances has been corrupted. The first question by the FBI should have been, “Wait, you are justifying a FISA warrant off of a foreign agent paid for by a political campaign and unverified third party sources?” Of course this is what America came to expect from the professionalism of the FBI and IC. Of course this is before we learned the wife of a senior FBI official worked for Fusion GPS; or the wife of the #2 FBI official under Comey received $400K in campaign donations from the Clinton campaign; or the two senior FBI officials assigned to investigate the Trump campaign were texting bias and hatred toward Trump as they built their case and carried on an affair. The question highlighted above was never asked because of extreme bias and prejudice of senior FBI officials. Comey’s FBI became a political pawn for the Obama Administration, the Department of Justice and the political hacks that masqueraded as professionals.

Furthermore, DNI Clapper and CIA Brennan grossly failed to do their due diligence in the matter as it appears  they supported the political aim to destroy Trump before he became president. How do I know this? Ultimately, I do not but I’m reading the puzzle pieces like many IC professionals do as part of their jobs, putting them all together. Real Intel professionals don’t tweet policy positions or more anti-Trump rhetoric after they leave the agency like Brennan does regularly. Real Intel professionals don’t take a position on CNN to broadcast more Trump hate to fulfill the fake news agenda like LTG (R) Clapper does. We have a serious crisis in our government and at least three departments have likely been corrupted by highly politicized “leaders” that allowed themselves to be corrupted.

Resistance Hopscotch Movement

Have you noticed how the Democrats, the party of Trump resistance, keep hopping from one subject of resistance to the next? Almost everything that happens in Washington DC these days is not about moving the country forward but about getting Trump; resisting the Trump presidency, country be damned! After he was elected, and before he took office, the Resistance Swamp Dwellers and the main stream media (MSM) loathers, organized and conspired to bring their daily barrage of hate filled rhetoric to the airwaves creating one conspiracy after the next, the Resistance Hopscotch Movement.

Red 1 is the Russian collusion accusations against Trump. Mask Hillary’s Uranium One deal, downplay over 30,000 classified and sensitive emails compromised on her private server and ignore the rigged DNC party nomination over Bernie through false Russian – Trump collusion allegations.

Yellow 2 accuse Trump of being mentally unstable.

Green 3 get DoJ Sessions to recuse himself from the Russian collusion investigation, appoint a special prosecutor and then set Trump up for obstruction of justice or lying to investigators. Use the Deep State to pressure from within.

Green 4 Ensure MSM continues to report 95% negative news on Trump repeating the Russian collusion narrative 24/7.

Blue 5 label Trump a racist and a bigot marginalizing him over the wall, attack his criticism of sanctuary cities and claim he is anti-immigration.

Yellow 6 label his tax cuts as “crumbs” to counter Americans keeping more of their hard earned money while stating the plan really benefits big business and the Trump organization.

Green 7 brand Trump a nationalist over his pullout of the TTP trade deal and the Paris Global Warming treaties, while threatening to reduce US involvement in NATO.

Yellow 8 storm Trump’s past history with woman to label him a misogynistic pig. Take full advantage of every woman that claims an allegation against him by elevating the story as featured news.

Blue 9 continue to claim Trump is unfit for office and should be impeached. Use democratic politicians and MSM to repeat the narrative daily through multiple news outlets. Make it a reality.

Red 10 circle back to the Russian collusion narrative when all else fails. Ensure Deep State activists withhold key evidence of the false orchestrated Russian collusion campaign that included the fake dossier, the illegal FISA warrant and the many bad actors that facilitated the false narrative in MSM and government.

While the democrats and MSM hopscotch from one false story to the next, American has grown bored of their resistance undermining America.

… and it is not China. While China continues to exploit free markets with intellectual property (IP) theft, a state controlled economy that targets western industries for harvesting and shrewdly sends their best and brightest abroad to study and bring technology and knowledge back to China, there has been little to no reciprocal benefit for the West and the United States. Actually, quite the contrary. The United States has watched industry after industry move to China for cheaper labor and greater profits. National security and what is best for American citizens be damned. American corporate CEOs that simply chase the bottom line and fail to balance American security and American employment interests play right into the Chinese strategy to dominant the world.

President Trump gets it. He’s beginning to get tough on China which is long overdue. The US trade deficit in 2016 with China was nearly $350 billion. Chinese IP theft is estimated to cost the US between $275 to $600 billion annually! Elites and Media ignorantly complaining about tariffs play right into the Chinese statist hands. They are counting on Americans to be divided and the media to be critical of Trump so they can continue to grow their economy at the expense of America. The American political and economic elite have gotten us into this mess and now they criticize President Trump for taking necessary action to put the Chinese on notice. The 53rd Regiment applauds President Trump for being bold giving the elites the Heisman stiff arm while letting the Chinese know the days of America being an economic chump are over.

American CEOs and Boardrooms need to stop selling out too. They are trading access to markets for allowing the Chinese state government (through their chosen proxy companies) to be majority owners in “state ventures” (joint ventures) between American and Chinese companies. As a matter of fact, an American or western company is not allowed to be a majority owner in a state venture. Who benefits? American companies benefit short term through increased profits but Chinese government and companies benefit long-term by developing industries the Chinese government is targeting to dominate. These state ventures also mandate technology transfers where more IP theft is occurring.

Let’s truly hope America is waking up! Trump needs to ignore the elites who put us into this mess. Apple and Google are two of the biggest sellouts to communist China. The American auto industry is also being controlled by the communist Chinese government. It is good that the Trump Administration is now awake regarding China and its gross unfair trade practices. Much work to be done here. A new tariff a day targeting industries that China has stolen from the US might be a good start.

The party of sedition. The party of subversion. The anti US Constitution party of treason. What happened to the Democratic party? It has been consumed by the elites.

Sedition. Sedition is overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that tends toward insurrection against the established order. Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent towards, or resistance against lawful authority. Reads like the Resistance Movement, doesn’t it?

They believe in illegal immigration.

They believe in sanctuary cities placing the rights of illegals over citizens.

They believe that illegals that have committed crimes raping, killing or harming Americans should not be handed over to federal government agencies for prosecution and/or deportation.

They believe in open borders and minimal to no security along the border including no wall.

They believe that voters should not be asked or required to show identification and verification of US citizenship to vote.

They believe asking a person whether “they are a US citizen” is an unlawful question and should not be asked in the 2020 Census.

They believe in a relentless campaign to undermine President Trump whether by false allegations of Russian collusion, creating false narratives about his mental fitness for office or focusing on his relationship with Stormy Daniels.

They believe the 2nd Amendment should be removed as the law of the land.

They believe prayer should be removed from the public square and there can be no tolerance for a pregame prayer before a sporting event.

They believe the Founding Fathers are criminals because some of them were slave owners, therefore the US Constitution has no legitimacy.

They coordinate their dogma with the Fake News mainstream media and Hollywood and then they manufacture phony movements to support their causes (Occupy Wall Street, Black Lives Matter, #Me Too and the list goes on).

They mock average Americans discounting our values while mainstreaming new deviancy and creating new genders.

They focus on the extreme, they celebrate disorder, they create chaos and they lie to us daily. They are the democratic party lead by the elite who can find very few things right with America. They are the democratic party seditionists.

The Master of Art of the Deal got rolled, got played. He had a winning hand but allowed himself to be consumed and played by DC politics and a 2,000 page bill loaded with Democratic priorities and very few conservative ideals or priorities. How does this happen with Republican control of Congress?

Answer: Many, many RINOs masquerading as conservatives that are too enthralled with enriching themselves and failing to represent the people that elected them. 

Many Trump supporters (of which the 53rd Regiment is one) believe Trump had an ace up his sleeve and approved this bill because he has a plan (@hotfunkytown for one). Sadly, the 53rd firmly disagrees. He caved! He failed to take his case to the American people and use the bully pulpit. The Swamp has to be dealt with directly and upfront in your face. Chuck & Nancy won this round and @potus got sucked in by the two RINOs leading the House & Senate. Very sad. No Wall (33 miles is a joke!)! No DACA and Immigration bill … massive, excessive spending! When Sen. Schumer states, “the era of austerity is over,” Mr. Trump has totally failed his base!

The 53rd Regiment needs President Trump to regroup. Cleaning house within the Administration of Swamp Dwellers is a good start as Blackjack Pershing points out in Swamp Human Resource Problems, but Trump supporters expect the President to focus on America First! The omnibus bill should have been a slam dunk veto, quickly followed by an Oval Office address to the country calling out the American sellouts that orchestrated this awful piece of legislation.

The 53rd Regiment is highly disappointed in in President Trump. He has many, many wins in his first 15 months in office but signing this bill was his first major mistake and a big loser to the millions of patriots that support him. Sad, very sad! Mr. President, time to get tough and lead us out of decades of decay.

Are we shocked that Facebook sold massive amounts of data to a 3rd party that used it for targeted advertising? No. That’s what they do. If you are upset or offended, you are simply misinformed.

Social media is an exchange. In exchange for a platform that lets you:
· Share pictures
· Share videos
· Broadcast live videos
· Maintain connections – including those with annoying people you never wanted to be connected to
· Share pictures of your lunch or dinner
· Pontificate about topics no one else wants to hear about
· Complain about just about anything

Facebook gets in return:
· Knowledge about where you go
· Knowledge about who your friends are
· Knowledge about your political leanings
· Knowledge about any particular interest you may have that results in a click of any sort

What does FB do with this knowledge or data?
· They monetize it.
· This is their business model

If you assumed differently, you might be a knucklehead. Grow up.

Blackjack Pershing is no fan of uber-douche Zuckerberg, or his lieutenant Miss Lean In Sandberg. They are elitist leftists of the first order. ‘Zuck’ gets credit for creating a useful social platform. He’s been rewarded for that. But he’s no icon to be worshiped. If you think harvesting data from dopey FB users is evil, you might be naïve. This has never been a secret.

Blackjack also uses FB for sharing information and humor and appreciates it as a tool, and is willing to make the above exchange, and accept the risks.

But really people – if you live on FB, you might be a loser. Even more – if you rely on the FB newsfeed for your news, you might be a loser. If you click on any random posting with sensational headlines that you know are BS, you might be a BIG DUMMY.

Smart American Patriots put effort into selecting their sources of information and do not let FB or any other social media site do it for them.

Lazy, silly, spoiled, narcissistic, neurotic dummies over-rely on FB and then get upset when they find out they’ve been had.

Good HR polices and the Swamp it seems, have never met. Ever.

And the Swampian press that covers the Swamp and its bad people practices defends the status quo at all costs.

First:
McCabe. Never has someone’s exit package or lack thereof become such an issue; the fact that every news organization is breathlessly reporting that Mr. McCabe lost his pension rights is moronic. Most Americans are not entitled to such a lavish pension as the one once available to Mr. McCabe. And most Americans who must work day in and out and are subject to rules of ethics, integrity and polite business behavior know that their employment can end abruptly if they do not comply with said rules. So the proper answer to reports of a pension denied to a rule breaker is ‘Do I look like I give a ____? Were rules broken? Were improprieties proven? Fine. Let’s move on.’

When people break integrity rules they get fired – almost everywhere. This is normal in the United States and necessary to maintain a civil society. Mr. McCabe should be far more worried about criminal charges than his pension.

Why do people get fired? A few reasons:
– Because they are ‘at will’ employees.That means you can be let go for no reason at all. Despite the litigious nature of our society, this is still true and legal in the US.

– Poor performance
– Bad fit; meaning they do not function well with the rest of the team
– Ethics and integrity: meaning they broke substantive rules; they lied; they stole; they cheated

It seems everyone in the media and in the Swamp lives outside these rules and assumes everyone gets a job for life. They don’t. That would be stupid, undermine progress, and lead us to what was the reality under communism in the Eastern Bloc Countries in the 20th century.

President Trump has presided over many departures. He says he likes turnover. Being fired in a tweet, or informed of your termination while on the toilet, as some have reported happened to Rex Tillerson, is unfortunate. Rex, however, is a big boy; he’s been a CEO of one of the most powerful companies on the planet. He’s got money. He will get over this. Who knows – he may have been relieved, as he relieved himself.

The President is managing how he likes to manage. It is not illegal. And we all knew what we were getting. It was not illegal to fire James Comey. It was not illegal to fire any of the White House staff that has been fired, many of whom remain loyal to the President.

Let’s compare the Trump firings to one that stands out; George W Bush’s firing of Don Rumsfeld in 2006 came about after Congress turned. Bush openly admitted that he was making the change due to the change in congress. Bush hang on to Rumsfeld for 6 years, during which many mistakes were made in the execution of the two active wars at the time (most notably abandoning the ‘Powell Doctrine’ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powell_Doctrine in favor of ‘Shock and Awe’) This was the standard Swamp employment model. Employ a loyal stalwart until politics and the public can no longer stand them. Rummy along with Dick Cheney became the bogey men for the leftist media at the time. Bush should have relieved Mr. Rumsfeld as early as 2003 as the initial results of the war proved the predicted occupation force levels of General Eric Shinseki correct.

To be clear, Black Jack Pershing likes Rumsfeld; but he suffered from a ‘job fit’ problem. He simply was not the man for the times, at that time. In other roles, for example running the IRS, he could have been magnificent.

Trump is operating at Trump Speed, not Swamp speed. A trump year is like 5 years of Swamp speed. Those relieved of duty, whether it was Reince Preibus, Steve Bannon, or Sean Spicer actually served 5 times or more length of service than their Swampian detractors would admit, as they were working at TRUMP speed, not SWAMP speed. Even the Mooch, who lasted but a week, was really there for 5 weeks in Swampian time.

The 53rd has regularly reported that disruption is uncomfortable in the Swamp. Recent shrieking about firings simply proves that to be true.

As for those of us outside the swamp? We think Ann Coulter might be right. Can you imagine the warmth and generous applause that could have been awarded to Rex Tillerson as he was axed at a Trump Rally?

“Great to be with you here in Kansas City! I love the heartland! Missouri loves me! We were up but almost 20 points here! I am going to bring out Big Rex Tillerson for one BIG last round of applause!!! Rex come on out! The people love you Rex! Rex is a great man, a great man, ladies and gentleman!! His wife is great too and he has a great family! We love you Rex but it’s time for you to go! Mad Dog is waiting for you over there with some parting gifts. Ok there he goes ladies and gentlemen – let’s all wave goodbye! Ok let’s get Mike Pompeo out here – you’re gonna love him, trust me!”

Fake News & The Walking Dead

When did the news become fake? As the 53rd Regiment examined this issue, we discovered some common threads  and a couple key elements that have corrupted the news profession resulting in the loss of public trust.  Mainstream TV news broadcasts and major newspapers are failing and losing their audience. Why?

Element One. Democratic politicians joined news rooms, editorial boards and became on air personalities. The news became less about the facts and more about pushing their liberal agendas. To name a few: (1)  George Stephanopoulos, former Clinton Press Secretary, with ABC (2) Jay Carney, MSNBC Contributor, former Obama Press Secretary, married to Claire Shipman ABC (3) Ben Rhodes, former Obama Deputy National Security Advisor in Obama Administration, is the brother of CBS News President Ben Rhodes (4) Chris Cuomo of CNN, brother of Democratic Governor of NY Andrew Cuomo. We could spend all day naming the liberal connections to the news media. The Democratic Party and the news networks are one in the same. Conservatives or non-partisans need not apply to work in the media.

Element Two. Late night comedy has been high jacked by the left. These shows have become extensions of the liberal base and they are not very funny anymore. Jimmy Kimmel,  Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers and the list goes on. Nobody wants to end their day listening to these comedic elites spew their hatred and carry their collectivist messages for the democrats. Sadly, many of these shows now believe their job is to inform the masses and shape American opinion instead of comedy.

Element Three. Sporting news network such as ESPN have turned hard left with broadcasters openly ridiculing the President on air and in social media forums. Sporting networks have openly backed the disrespect shown to military Veterans by NFL athletes choosing  to side with the extreme minority of players instead of keeping the focus on the game.

When you combine these three elements, we have the Walking Dead fabricating the news, pushing their agendas and losing the American public due to their ideology driven broadcasts. News shows can’t be trusted, newspapers are collapsing and sporting events are being destroyed by the left. Americans are speaking by tuning out but the Walking Dead running and ruining these networks would rather push their leftist agenda than report real news!
